Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
Supervise a project's systems engineering events as performed by the technical team.
Monitor, organize, and manage a project's tasks.
Assess and calculate the technical features of a project plan to ensure that the systems engineering procedures are operating correctly.
You have experience and are able to work independently in:
Providing EUC support for the organization.
Providing 2nd and 3rd level support.
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in areas such as information security, systems engineering, integration, and information systems architecture.
Skills in systems problem-solving and conflict resolution.
Ability to work as part of a team, independently, and make decisions.
Strong mathematical concepts and analytical skills.
Prioritize tasks effectively and ability to work well under pressure.
Able to explore new ideas and innovation, partnering with key team members across the organization to deliver effective IT solutions.
Possessing good working knowledge of information security, integration, and data architecture, along with technical knowledge of hardware, software, and networks.
Experience with virtualization, cloud computing, and Microsoft Azure.
Background in business administration, project management, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills that are essential to work well with global business, technical, manufacturing, purchasing, and supply chain functions across various geographies and cultures.
Experienced and independent in engaging stakeholders in China and Hong Kong on system and infrastructure issues.
Possess strong and effective communication skills, with proficiency in both written and spoken language to facilitate interactions with local and regional teams.
Ability to manage time effectively.
Ability to travel and take on short overseas assignments on an as-needed basis.
