Cloud Developer (DevOps)

We are seeking a Cloud Developer (DevOps) to join our team.

You will be part of the application team to provide DevSecOps BAU enhancements and maintenance for applications supporting currency management operations. BAU operations include maintaining application hygiene (e.g., patch testing, vulnerability management) and incident management. For BAU enhancements, team members will gather requirements from business users and coordinate with the cloud team and application vendor for application maintenance in GCC.

Responsibilities

• Use cloud computing skills (AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy patches, upgrades, and fixes
• Create and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for the entire application stack
• Work with developers, third-party software, and cloud vendors to manage and resolve incidents and technical issues
• Support developers by maintaining and updating processes and services through continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) automation
• Monitor and manage security scan findings and address vulnerabilities by hardening systems and applications
• Collaborate with cloud platform and solution architects to comply with enterprise and platform change directives
• Identify and fix audit findings or security control failures
• Automate data, processes, and security controls to provide operational support with metrics
• Prepare and maintain technical and operational documentation

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Proficiency in configuring AWS services like EC2, Network Load Balancer, Application Load Balancer, Web Application Firewall, Security Group, RDS, S3, and Lambda
• Proven skills with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, and Nexus IQ
• Experience in setting up continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) processes and tools
• Knowledge in monitoring tools like Zabbix and Kibana
• Background in application development and middleware setup
• Capable of managing and remediating security vulnerabilities
• Familiarity with integrating applications with RDS is a plus
• Understanding of networking protocols and services (e.g., SFTP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, routing) is an advantage
