Cleaning Operation Manager

Main Purpose of Job:

• Ensuring all assigned duties are completed and carried out in a safe manner
• Ensuring all resources are utilized efficiently
• Assisting the Operations Director to be the ‘eyes-on-the-ground’

Key Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Acting as communication conduit between Management and workers
• Ensuring all tasks are carried out in a safe and timely manner
• Assisting and coaching the workers on site if required
• Monitoring the progress and quality of works at job sites
• Liaising with the Operations Director on a daily basis regarding ongoing tasks
• Assisting the Operations Director in the planning of future projects
• Requesting new purchases of depleted stock of consumables or damaged equipment parts
• Monitoring and reporting of worker absenteeism to Operations Director
• Ensuring all safety measures are adhered to at job sites and reporting to the Operations Director of any breaches

Additional Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and controlling the use of materials, equipment, and consumables
• Ensuring all required repair work for any of the equipment assigned to them is completed
• Monitoring good standards of work and compliance of employees
