Civil & Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:-

• Assist Project Manager in all on-site technical/ engineering matters and authority submissions.
• Responsible for designing and detailing of Civil and Structural Engineering works to ensuring that the Structure sections of the works are constructed in accordance with the contract requirements
• Responsible for timely submission of reports and completion of projects for tender/submission with target dates
• Planning of micro scheduling with other trades/disciplines against Master program
• To update structural/architectural/M&E progress with scheduling tools.
• Manage projects to meet the time, cost and quality objectives
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and authorities from inception to completion of projects
• Supervise the structural works of sub-contractors and work closely with site operations staff to meet the project schedule.
• Coordinate and monitor work progress at site including periodical site
• Responsible for all inspection activities and attending meetings during course of construction of projects being carried out
• Monitor site safety and liaise with the Safety Engineer

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognized by PE Board/ BCA
• 4-5 years HDB experience in Building Engineering main-con companies
• Experience with Precast/PPVC/MET projects will be a plus
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and BIM
• Able to work independently and a team player
• Good analytical, supervision, and communication skills
