Civil & Structural Engineer

Job Description:

1. Perform site planning, coordination & inspection relating to the construction project to ensure that project completion timeline and requirements are met.
2. Ensure site operations progress smoothly and on schedule, comply with all authorities' requirements, and that standards and specifications are properly implemented.
3. Assist PM/CM in overseeing the construction activities and progress, planning, implementation, and monitoring work schedules in accordance with the detailed work program.
4. Maintain proper documentation of inspection forms and other follow-up inspections from RE.
5. Coordinate the review of drawings, submission of proposals, queries, and designs for consultant approval.
6. Update the progress of structural works in the Progress Reports.
7. Assist in commissioning, including coordination of structural engineering.
8. Assist in the implementation of project operations to comply with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standard requirements, documented procedures, as well as client, company, and authorities’ requirements.
9. Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Civil Engineering (recognized by PE Board of Singapore).
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in the local building construction industry involved in HDB/LTA projects.
3. Strong knowledge of Singapore building codes and regulations and familiarity with local standard quality implementation.
4. Good leadership and communication skills, excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
