Overview of the role:

The job holder will be responsible for ensuring that works are completed safely, on time, to budget, and to the required quality. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for managing individual areas of work to assist in the completion of the whole project.

What you will do:

1. Control the works of the labor teams and issue tasks to firemen, gangs, and subcontractors in a structured and organized manner.
2. Ensure that all site works are conducted safely.
3. Produce documentation on work performance.
4. Address site problems to ensure the project stays on track.
5. Be aware of the value and cost of materials being used and adopt a suitable approach.
6. Accountable for the completion of standard or non-standard tasks, within the scope of the function.
7. Deliver activities to support operational objectives for their role.
8. Input to planning activities with horizons of typically up to 6 months.
9. Make decisions within parameters set by the line manager, using job/specialist experience.
10. Ensure that all relevant safety, quality, and environmental procedures, instructions, and controls are adhered to so that the safety, quality of services, and environmental compliance can be guaranteed within AFC.

What equips you for the role:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
2. 3+ years of relevant experience in the construction industry
