Civil Engineer cum PE Assignee [RE Certified | Viaducts]

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Report to Construction Manager
2. Manage and oversee construction activities near existing SPPG tunnel/GTP
3. Coordinate between client, consultant, and sub-contractor (vendors)
4. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations
5. Carry out regular inspections and checks of concerned construction activities
6. Resolve technical and engineering issues
7. Ensure proper documentation (including Risk Assessment/Method Statement) and record-keeping of construction activities
8. Ensure activities comply with local authorities’ quality, environment, health & safety requirements and Clients’ General Specification
9. Ensure Permit to Work (PTW) is verified and valid for assigned duties.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university, accredited by the Singapore PE Board
2. Registered Resident Engineer with IES and valid certification in Singapore
3. Minimum of 1 year of engineering experience
4. 2 years of experience in the supervision of construction projects preferred
5. Progress-oriented, team player
6. Technical expertise and knowledge in Civil Engineering Construction, especially piling/RC works
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
8. Attained CSCPM/BCSS/Confined Space/Work At Height certifications
9. Good interpersonal skills and hardworking
