Assist Project Manager in site supervision and management.
Responsible for planning, scheduling, forecasting, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.
Controlling the cost of the materials and labour.
Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables.
Attend site meetings, inspections, and monitor project progress with Main Contractor and Sub-contractors.
Liaising and coordinating with all parties involved in the projects such as consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, local authorities, environmental agencies, and federal entities to ensure successful implementation of the project.
Manage daily operations of project execution.
Solving construction problems as soundly as possible.
Act as the quality control and assurance to ensure that project objectives are met.
Ensure that project paperwork is properly kept and up to date.
Ensure safe work procedures are implemented to control risk.
Familiar with relevant legal requirements.
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers (PE) Board or qualifications accepted by the Commissioner of Building Control for registration as Resident Engineer.
At least five (5) years relevant experience including in planning the construction of vehicular structures and roads involving stage diversions.
Self-motivated, dynamic and goal-oriented candidate.
Required skill(s): MS Office; preferable candidate with AutoCAD skills.
