Job Description

1. Builds a secure and good learning environment for children.
2. Supports the holistic development of children.
3. Carries out a progressive and culturally appropriate curriculum.
4. Builds partnerships with parents and families.
5. Follows health, safety, nutritional and hygiene standards, and rules.
6. Guides the social and emotional growth along with confidence in children.
7. Imparts the core values of early childhood education through events.
8. Fosters trust and respect in relationships with children.
9. Reviews teaching and learning approaches that follow Curriculum Frameworks.
10. Takes part in collaborative projects with stakeholders involved with the school.
11. Engages in constant learning and reflective practices.
12. Understands the learning and developmental needs of young children (birth up to age 8).
13. Uses classroom management and documents children’s learning.

Requirements

1. Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education.
2. Familiarity with the Singapore preschool curriculum framework.
3. Attained an L1/L2/EY1/EY2 Certification by ECDA.
