Chief Utility Manager - LTA & Tunnel Projects

Job Scope

• Manage and coordinate utility diversions, installations and relocations across multiple project sites
• Liaise with various utility agencies and authorities to ensure timely approvals and permits
• Develop and implement utility management strategies and contingency plans
• Monitor and report on utility work progress, escalating issues as needed
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on utility-related matters
• Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines, regulations and safety standards
• Participate in design reviews and constructability workshops
• Mentor and lead a team of utility coordinators and engineers

Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in utility management, preferably in the infrastructure or construction industry
• Proven track record of managing utility diversions, relocations and installations for major projects
• In-depth knowledge of utility agencies, regulations and approval processes in Singapore
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a project team environment
