Chief Risk Officer - Digital Asset Exchange

This premier digital asset exchange was set up to be a leading regulated market infrastructure in Asia. It is committed to continue investing in growth and is now recruiting a dynamic Chief Risk Officer.

Responsibilities

1. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and as a key member of the management team, you will develop risk framework, standards and policies, and provide guidance and management across various risk types including business, operational, technology, market, credit, business continuity and regulatory risks.
2. You will develop, implement, monitor and maintain robust and integrated risk management practices and culture.
3. Through periodic assurance testing, you will ensure that the various risk functions adhere to applicable risk guidelines and standards and recommend improvements and new procedures where controls are needed.

Requirements

1. You possess a proven track record operating as Chief Risk Officer or Head of Risk at major exchanges and/or financial institutions.
2. Direct experience in digital assets will be preferred but not a must.
3. Candidates from financial services who are agile and possess some knowledge of digital assets and wish to grow his/her career in this emerging digital asset sector can also apply.
4. You are highly credible, analytical, solutions-focused, logical thinker and calm under pressure.
5. You operate with high integrity and possess strong leadership, management and people skills.
