Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that the strategy accommodates multiple product lines and markets.
  2. Stay ahead of industry trends, shifting consumer preferences, and emerging global supply chain dynamics.
  3. Oversee the sourcing, procurement, and distribution of products, managing relationships with suppliers, logistics, and inventory control to ensure smooth operations across various product categories.
  4. Ensure business operations are efficient, cost-effective, and scalable, given the wide range of products.
  5. Ensure financial health through effective budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  6. Set sales targets, pricing strategies, and margin expectations across different product lines to ensure sustained profitability.
  7. Manage relationships with wholesale buyers, distributors, and retailers.
  8. Recruit top talent for key roles, ensuring employees are well-trained in product knowledge, logistics, and customer service.
  9. Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies.
  10. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and logistics providers.
  11. Leverage data to drive business decisions, using market intelligence, sales performance data, and customer insights to optimize the company’s product offering, sales approach, and operations.
  12. Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.

Job Requirements:

  1. A degree in Accounting, Computerized Accounting, Business Management, or a related field.
  2. 10-15 years of leadership experience in wholesale business or a senior executive role, gained from working your way up the corporate ladder through various roles and jobs.
  3. Extensive experience in managing diverse product lines, preferably in a wholesale or B2B (business-to-business) environment, particularly valuable in businesses dealing with a wide variety of goods.
  4. Experience in multi-departmental management (sales, marketing, operations, finance, customer service, etc.) and in coordinating efforts across various functions.
  5. Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Experience in managing financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis across multiple product categories.
