CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO)

Job Description

1. Overseeing the daily business and administrative operations and improving operating procedures for optimal efficiency
2. Assessing and enhancing the efficiency of internal and external operational processes
3. Leading and motivating staff to achieve sales and organisational objectives
4. Overseeing the recruitment process to attract the best candidates and reduce employee turnover
5. Mentoring and inspiring employees to key into the vision of management
6. Establishing policies that improve and promote company vision and culture
7. Evaluating company performance and recommending strategies to improve results
8. Collaborating with management and other colleagues to raise capital and carry out other business-expanding strategies

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or industry-relevant equivalent
2. Proven experience in a senior executive role
3. In-depth understanding of the industry and the workings of different departments of a company, including finance and sales
4. Excellent leadership and organisational skills
5. Outstanding written and oral communication skills
6. Strategic planning and business development
7. Experience in budgeting and sales
