Chief Officer

Bridge and Deck Operations:

1. Conduct daily bridge and deck watchkeeping.
2. Operate and maintain deck department equipment and gears.
3. Prepare and execute docking plans as required.

Safety and Compliance:

1. Assist the Master in implementing and monitoring the Safety Management System (SMS).
2. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and pollution prevention policies.
3. Maintain life-saving and firefighting equipment to regulatory standards.

Cargo Operations:

1. Planning cargo stowage, loading, and discharge.
2. Supervise and oversee safe cargo operations to maintain ship stability.

Resource Management:

1. Monitor and control freshwater, stores, spares, and other resources onboard.
2. Supervise crew training, drills, and evaluate deck crew performance.

Administrative Duties:

1. Maintain accurate records including logbooks, inventories, and maintenance records.
2. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company procedures.

Safety Officer Role:

1. Act as the Ship's Safety Officer, responsible for onboard safety awareness and practices.
2. Promote a safety culture and ensure the well-being of all personnel onboard.

Requirements:

1. COC Class II or I
2. Minimum 3 years of experience on board as Chief Officer on Oil / Chemical Tanker.
3. Good leadership, teamwork, management and communication skills.
4. Must be willing to follow Company planned working schedule on board vessel.
