Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) - based in Hong Kong or Singapore

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join one of our clients to be based in either Hong Kong or Singapore. Our client is a worldwide provider of business and technology consulting services and solutions. The CMO is responsible for overseeing all marketing operations of the company and developing its marketing strategy and vision. He/She will be in charge of a Regional (APAC) team of enthusiastic marketing professionals and will direct the marketing efforts towards great success.

Responsibilities:

  1. Set marketing goals and objectives for the business.
  2. Develop/improve the structure of the marketing department.
  3. Plan, develop and manage feasible marketing strategy and plan by working closely with the CEO, CFO, and Country Managing Directors.
  4. Work closely with the Sales team to spot opportunities in the market and drive revenue by increasing sales through marketing activities.
  5. Drive sales pipeline via lead generation, lead nurturing and demand gen programs.
  6. Acquire reliable and comprehensive data through analysis of markets, competitors, and historical performance to make decisions.
  7. Take responsibility for the look and content of the company website and social media outlets.
  8. Build and maintain good business rapport with key executives and decision makers, press, industry relation analysts and the partner ecosystem.
  9. Support local events and grow online user community.
  10. Stay up to date with the latest marketing technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or any other disciplines.
  2. Around 20 years of well-rounded marketing or business development experience.
  3. At least 10 years of experience in a leadership role to lead and inspire a regional team.
  4. Capability to develop and execute standard corporate process and procedure for marketing, and strategic marketing plans to generate sales lead.
  5. Strong background in Sales-Side Marketing including lead and demand generation.
  6. Extensive experience in Hi-Tech Professional Services industry. Candidates from business technology consulting are highly preferred.
  7. Good knowledge in Digital Marketing, including various social media.
  8. Creative and willing to take risks and build things from scratch.
  9. Excellent communication skills in both English & Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
