Chief Investment Officer/CFO-Manufacturing Industry

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Fundraising & Capital Deployment

• Spearhead overseas fund establishment, including structuring investment vehicles, securing LP commitments, and managing fund compliance (e.g., MAS regulations).
• Lead end-to-end financing for large-scale manufacturing plant construction projects, from capital sourcing (debt/equity) to cost optimization and risk mitigation.
• Design and execute IPO strategies, including pre-IPO fundraising, roadshow coordination, and post-listing market value management for global exchanges (e.g., HKEX, NASDAQ).

Manufacturing & Operational Finance Leadership

• Oversee financial planning for greenfield/brownfield factory projects, including CAPEX budgeting, supply chain financing, and ROI analysis aligned with ESG goals.
• Drive M&A activities in the manufacturing sector, from target screening to post-acquisition integration, leveraging cross-border investment expertise.

Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary liaison for institutional investors, PE/VC partners, and sovereign wealth funds, ensuring transparent communication during fundraising cycles.
• Negotiate strategic partnerships with technology providers and government agencies to secure subsidies/grants for smart manufacturing initiatives.

Financial Governance & Compliance

• Direct consolidation of multinational financial statements under IFRS/US GAAP, with a focus on manufacturing subsidiaries and JV entities.
• Implement robust risk controls for currency hedging, raw material price volatility, and geopolitical exposures in emerging markets.

Candidate Profile

Essential Experience:

• 10+ years in senior investment/finance roles with a proven track record in: Fundraising & Capital Markets: Successfully raised across PE/VC funds, corporate bonds, or IPO listings etc.
• Manufacturing Operations: Hands-on experience in financing plant construction (e.g., semiconductor fabs, EV battery factories) and optimizing production-related CAPEX/OPEX.
• IPO Leadership: Led 2+ full-cycle IPOs, including prospectus preparation, regulatory filings, and post-listing investor relations.
• Deep expertise in cross-border fund structuring (e.g., Singapore VCC, Cayman LP) and familiarity with MAS/SEC regulations.
• Technical proficiency in financial modeling for heavy industries (e.g., DCF, scenario analysis for capacity expansion).

Preferred Qualifications:

• CFA/CPA/ holder with prior exposure to smart manufacturing technologies (IoT, Industry 4.0).
• Fluency in Mandarin to engage with APAC stakeholders; bilingual candidates prioritized.
