Position: Chief Information Security Officer

Job Description

1. Developing and implementing secure processes and systems used to prevent, detect, mitigate, and recover from cyberattacks.
2. Educating and managing technology risk in collaboration with business leaders.
3. Building and driving a cybersecurity strategy and framework, with initiatives to secure the organization's cyber and technology assets.
4. Continuously evaluating and managing the cyber and technology risk posture of the organization.
5. Implementing and managing the cyber governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) process.
6. Reporting to the most senior levels of the organization (the CEO and board of directors, or equivalent).
7. Developing, justifying, and evaluating cybersecurity investments.
8. Developing and implementing ongoing security awareness training and education for users.
9. Leading cybersecurity operations and implementing disaster recovery protocols and business continuity plans with business resilience in mind.

Requirements and Qualifications

1. Relevant Cybersecurity licenses or qualifications.

Technical Skills

1. In-depth knowledge of information security.
2. Experience with security technologies and tools.
3. Understanding of network security, application security, and data protection principles.
