Job description

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team at Kantar as the Chief Growth & Transformation Officer APAC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of Kantar Insights and drive commercial outcomes for our clients. As a key member of our leadership team, you will collaborate with various teams to align commercial planning, marketing, and internal communications with our company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Transformation Partner to regional CEO: Collaborate with the CCO, CPO, CFO, and CEO to develop and implement transformation strategies that improve client service productivity and drive growth.
  2. Operational Efficiency: Work closely with the APAC Operations Director to scale automation and deliver our expertise more efficiently, aligned with our strategic goals.
  3. Lead the Commercial Excellence (CEX) portfolio: Drive client-centric revenue growth, optimize product mix, and improve overall margin and client outcomes across the region.
  4. Strategic Direction and Activation: Develop clear strategies for Kantar's Offer and transform them into practical plans. Harness technology and our expertise to provide outstanding quality to our clients in every APAC market. Implement the OGSP framework to establish meaningful targets and promote advancement.
  5. Leadership of Solutions Team: Guide and develop a team of solution experts who consistently demonstrate effective delivery of Kantar's expertise to APAC clients at scale.
  6. Marketing and Communications Oversight: Align the marketing team/council with the Solution strategy and priorities to improve our market presence and drive revenue growth opportunities.
  7. Engage with top industry professionals and senior leaders to align with company strategies and goals, overcome obstacles to growth, and contribute to Kantar's success.
  8. Capability Development: Assume accountability for fostering expertise growth and accreditation through APAC Kantar Academy, Goldstar, and other relevant programs.
  9. Encourage Collaboration Across Functions: Promote teamwork and effective collaboration among different functional areas and regions within our decentralized matrix organization.

Profile:

  1. Large scale transformation experience, with a focus on workforce optimisation and efficiency.
  2. Proven commercial excellence experience in a large MNC with a focus on product optimization and mix with a client centric lens in APAC.
  3. Real champion of motivating change and improvement in the business with drive, determination, energy and a ‘make things happen’ attitude to see things through to successful completion.
  4. A strategic problem solver with the ability to translate strategy into actionable delivery plans.
  5. Strengths in influencing others and achieving action through people who may not report to them.
  6. Credible among client facing stakeholders and peers, with client facing experience and consultative capabilities, and strong working knowledge of Kantar’s solutions and Blueprint for Brand Growth.
  7. Relevant experience working within the organization in the past transformational years will be a must. A wide network within Kantar will be helpful.
