Description

The Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial processes, including cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and governance, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy.
• Lead the analysis of business data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective action plans to achieve strategic targets and budget guidelines.
• Coordinate with holding company banks in Mauritius to manage liquidity needs and ensure timely payment of bills.
• Exercise direct responsibility for controlling and reporting accounts receivable, customer credit, and accounts payable.
• Manage cash flow and provide financing solutions to support business growth and accounts receivable management as needed.
• Direct the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and government agency reports.
• Ensure financial analysis and reporting is provided to the holding company on a timely basis.
• Supervise and ensure compliance with accounting practices, standards, reporting procedures, and relevant regulations across all group companies.
• Manage tax planning and audit activities within Singapore frameworks, and prepare and sign legal contracts for the company.
• Supervise and advise on process design requirements, financial, credit, and commercial terms, vendor selection, and management for all products and platforms at the operational level.
• Represent the company in negotiations and communication initiatives.

Requirements

• MBA in Finance or related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields.
• Proven track record in leadership roles, ideally in the renewable energy sector.
• Experience working with senior leadership teams and board members.
• Significant experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), risk management, budgeting, and reporting.

Estimated Salary: $250,000 - $350,000 per annum depending on location and experience.
