With a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes and a P&L size of $900 million, this organization is looking for a passionate and seasoned finance leader who’s ready to drive transformation and guide the business through its next phase of growth. This is more than a CFO role – it’s a strategic partnership in a company that’s truly making a difference.
The Opportunity
As CFO, you’ll be at the helm of the company’s financial strategy and operations, directly shaping the future of this dynamic organization. You’ll manage a high-performing team, collaborate closely with the CEO and senior executives, and be a vital part of an inspiring journey that’s all about innovation, excellence, and impact. If you thrive in a hands-on, high-growth environment and are excited about steering a company with a meaningful mission, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Setting Financial Strategy: You’ll craft and drive the financial vision, working closely with the executive team to shape plans that support growth, profitability, and long-term success.
- Owning the P&L: You’ll lead the charge on all financial aspects of the business, from budgeting and forecasting to optimizing financial performance and reaching our ambitious P&L targets.
- Ensuring Compliance & Managing Risk: You’ll establish strong internal controls and ensure our operations align with both industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Enhancing Operational Efficiency: By implementing cost-saving measures and streamlining processes, you’ll ensure our finances are set up to support sustainable growth.
- Leading a Talented Team: As a mentor and team builder, you’ll inspire, develop, and lead a high-caliber finance team, instilling a culture of collaboration and forward-thinking excellence.
- Strategic Partnering: You’ll be a key advisor to the CEO and executive team, providing insights that inform strategic decision-making, and you’ll represent us to investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Supporting M&A: With an eye for growth opportunities, you’ll lead M&A activities, including financial due diligence and integration, to support our expansion strategy.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for a strategic, hands-on finance professional who’s passionate about making a real impact.
- Proven Leadership: You’ve managed large-scale P&Ls, ideally around $500 million or more, and have a solid track record in senior finance roles – ideally as a CFO or similar.
- Industry Expertise: Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or a similar sector is a strong advantage, as is familiarity with the regulatory landscape.
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking: You’re a strategic thinker with a knack for seeing the big picture and the details, using financial insights to drive decisions that matter.
- Exceptional Team Leadership: You know how to build, inspire, and lead teams, cultivating a culture of growth, innovation, and high performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
- Extensive experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally as a CFO, with a background in the medical devices or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of managing large P&L, preferably close to or above $500 million.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of financial planning, P&L management, and risk assessment.
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing and developing high-performing finance teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in the medical or healthcare sector is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in driving financial strategies that support business growth, operational efficiencies, and profitability.
