Chief Financial Officer/Financial Advisor

We are representing a leading startup in the Innovative Logistics platform space, in search of an experienced Chief Financial Officer/Financial Advisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Fundraising & Investment: Develop and implement fundraising strategies, actively engaging with venture capital (VC) firms, private equity (PE) firms, and other potential investors.
• Lead capital-raising efforts, including negotiations and managing associated documentation.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, providing regular updates on organization financial and operational performance.
• Develop accurate financial models and projections to support investor pitches, demonstrating organization growth potential, financial health, and return on investment.
• Lead discussions on investment terms and conditions, ensuring favorable terms that align with the company’s strategic vision and long-term financial sustainability.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks related to fundraising, ensuring that capital structure and investment deals are in line with the company’s risk tolerance and financial stability.
• Financial Strategy & Planning: Create and execute long-term financial strategies that align with organization business goals.
• Optimize financial resources through efficient budgeting, cost control, and risk management.
• Analyze key financial metrics to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Manage the overall financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, as well as adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Ensure organization financial systems, processes, and reporting practices comply with all relevant regulatory standards, including Singaporean regulations and international accounting principles.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including senior financial roles in startups or early-stage companies.
• Extensive experience in venture capital and working with VC/PE firms.
• Proven track record of leading successful fundraising efforts for startups.
• Exceptional financial planning, risk management, and analytical skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to align financial planning with business goals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of Singapore financial regulations and international accounting standards.
• Experience in logistics, delivery, or gig economy platforms. Familiarity with the Singapore and Southeast Asia markets.
