A prominent Chinese oil trading company is looking for a highly qualified and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee the financial operations. The CFO will play a key role in strategic financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and reporting. This position requires a bilingual candidate proficient in both Mandarin Chinese and English to liaise effectively with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide strategic financial planning and provide recommendations to executive leadership.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial statements while complying with regulatory requirements.
• Manage annual budgets and financial forecasts; analyze performance and implement corrective actions.
• Identify financial risks and develop effective management strategies; oversee treasury functions.
• Liaise with investors, banks, and regulatory bodies, and represent the company in financial negotiations.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with departments to enhance operational efficiency and support growth initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the oil or trading industry.
• Proven experience managing complex financial structures and reporting processes.
• Excellent bilingual communication skills in Mandarin Chinese and English, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional leadership abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
