Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing the financial health and strategic growth of the company. The CFO will develop and implement financial strategies, manage risk, ensure compliance, and optimize financial performance. As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will work closely with leadership to drive profitability and sustainable growth of Singapore’s subsidiary.

Key ResponsibilitiesA. Financial Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making

B. Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Monitor cash flow, revenue, expenses, and profitability metrics.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and reports.

C. Risk Management & Compliance

• Identify and mitigate financial risks affecting the company
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory requirements
• Oversee audits, tax filings, and internal controls

D. Operational Efficiency & Cost Management

• Drive cost reduction initiatives and operational efficiencies.
• Optimize pricing, procurement, and supply chain financial strategies.
• Implement financial technologies (ERP, accounting software) for better management.

E. Funding & Investment

• Lead fundraising efforts, investor relations, and capital allocation.
• Manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.
• Assess investment opportunities for business expansion and acquisitions.

F. Leadership & Team Development

• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, financial discipline, and transparency.
• Collaborate with other departments (Marketing, Operations, HR) to drive company-wide success.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• Experience: 10+ years in financial leadership roles, preferably in the food & beverage industry.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Expertise in financial regulations and risk management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting software, and data analytics tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving ability.
