Chief Financial Officer

Responsible for strategic planning, implementation and managing all financial activities (Business Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Risk, Governance & Negotiations).

This position is expected to play a critical role in supporting our business operations by providing financial insights and guidance through P&L management of the Company and driving the business and people for improvement and growth. This role will be overseeing the abovementioned financial activities for two entities, Uniqlo (Singapore) and Fast Retailing (Singapore).

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Planning & Forecasting: Development and implementation of financial strategies to accomplish company's objectives while taking into account forecasted capital needs
• Budgeting & Cash Flow Management: Preparation of financial statements, maintaining transparency and appropriate cash flow to facilitate business needs
• Risk Management, Governance & Negotiations: Analyze organization's liabilities and investments to ensure financial stability as well as ensuring financial regulations and policies are adhered to while conducting negotiations with different stakeholders eg. vendors, employees etc.
• Overseas multiple business functions across two business entities, while driving people development as an executive member.

Key Requirements:

• Have at least 15 to 20 years of financial background, with minimally 10 years of experience in senior management level.
• Has experience in managing various business functions, leading other leaders.
• Has experience in Retail and/or FMCG industry, within a financial position.
• Extensive knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to lead and manage multiple stakeholders to drive change for the improvement of business
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders, in a multinational environment.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of retail operations and supply chain processes.
