Well-established Technology and Telco Service Provider seeks a dynamic and driven individual to join the team as Chief Financial Controller (based overseas)!

Job Description

As the Financial Controller, you will be the pioneer of the Finance function, set up structure, and lead system implementation.

• Responsible for the monthly and quarterly close processes with a focus on driving improvements (i.e. quality and efficiency of output) to enable optimal business decisions.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Provide both operational and financial support to the company.
• Manage external auditor and banking relationships.
• Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports and KPIs, including monthly profit and loss forecast/actual (vs. budget) and other analyses needed to effectively run the business and achieve stated financial goals.
• Coordinate fulfillment of ad hoc requests from Corporate, Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders.
• Develop, implement, and manage the company's accounting policies.
• Establish, monitor, and maintain controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes, and data, enhancing the company's value.
• Support the CEO and COO to evaluate, conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to support data center sales activities.
• Support cross-border group investment holdings transformation, optimize inter-company transactions, and lead strategic M&A and valuations.
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Provide financial leadership across the business to meet business plan targets.
• Accountable for the financial objectives and policies of the company.
• Work closely with the CEO and COO to prepare and manage annual budgets.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with system implementation will be advantageous.
• Prior experience in M&A and fundraising.
• Commercial acumen and gravitas to business partner with the senior leadership team.
• Self-starter, able to navigate autonomously in a start-up/unstructured environment.
