Chief Finance Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company’s business objectives and growth plans.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.
• Oversee corporate finance activities, including capital structuring, fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
• Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide data-driven insights to optimize revenue generation and cost efficiencies.

Accounting & Reporting

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and SGX listing requirements.
• Oversee audit processes, liaising with external auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain strong internal controls and risk management frameworks.

Regulatory & Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with SGX listing requirements, MAS regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures in line with best practices.
• Oversee tax planning, reporting, and compliance to optimize tax efficiency.

Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a key liaison with investors, analysts, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead investor relations efforts, including financial disclosures, earnings calls, and shareholder communication.
• Maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, legal advisors, and corporate partners.

Treasury & Risk Management

• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and treasury functions to ensure financial stability.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange, interest rate, and credit risks.
• Optimize working capital management and funding strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA) is a bonus.
• CPA, CFA, or CA qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior leadership role in a Singapore-listed company.
• Strong knowledge of SGX listing rules, corporate governance, and financial regulations.
• Proven track record in corporate finance, M&A, and capital markets.
• Experience in handling investor relations and engaging with key stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and business acumen.
