Job description

Our client is a rapidly growing ITO agency that utilizes AI-powered solutions for development.

They are seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Commercial Officer to drive revenue growth, business development, and commercial strategy for the agency across the APAC and EU regions. This role requires you to RELOCATE and be onsite in Hanoi or Danang, Vietnam. Visa sponsorship is offered.

The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of strategic and enterprise sales, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies - with a proven track record in scaling revenue and managing high-value partnerships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Revenue Growth & Commercial Strategy

  • Define and implement commercial strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that maximize customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and deal structuring to optimize revenue while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to align commercial goals with overall business objectives.
Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships to expand the company's presence in key global markets.
  • Build and maintain high-impact relationships with enterprise clients, technology partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead market entry initiatives, identifying new customer segments, industry trends, and competitive positioning to drive business opportunities.
  • Represent the company in high-profile negotiations, industry conferences, and executive-level discussions.
Sales & Account Management Leadership

  • Oversee enterprise sales and key account management, ensuring a consultative approach to client engagement.
  • Establish and drive sales targets, performance metrics, and revenue forecasting to support long-term business growth.
  • Guide and mentor commercial teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on customer success and revenue generation.
Operational & Financial Management

  • Lead contract structuring, commercial negotiations, and risk management to ensure profitable and sustainable business growth.
  • Work closely with finance and legal teams to develop financial models, revenue projections, and cost management plans.
  • Implement data-driven decision-making processes to continuously optimize commercial performance.
REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10 - 15 years of experience in commercial leadership, general management, or sales/business development within the IT outsourcing, SaaS, or AI consulting industries.
  • Multi-regional experience in a similar role is strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing large sales teams of roughly 50 people.
  • Responsibility for at least 10M in revenue.
  • Strong track record in developing and executing commercial strategies that drive revenue and market share growth.
  • Expertise in enterprise sales, key account management, and high-value deal negotiations.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with executives, product teams, and sales professionals.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed to foster business relationships and market expansion.
  • Fluent or near-fluent in English. Other Asian or European languages will be an added bonus.
  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred.
