Chemical Scientific Research Engineer.

Overview:

• Jurong Island - Transport Provided: Jurong East/Lakeside MRT
• Basic Salary: $5000 + AWS
• 5 Working days - 8.00am to 4:45pm

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and conduct experiments for polymer synthesis, modification, and characterization.
• Analyze polymer properties using various analytical techniques.
• Utilize machine learning algorithms to predict polymer properties and identify candidates for experimental validation.
• Develop and apply AI/ML algorithms for polymer property prediction, process optimization, and material discovery.
• Design feedback loops based on analysis results to optimize operating conditions for continuous process improvement.
• Work with software for DFT calculations and molecular dynamics simulations (e.g., VASP, Gaussian, Amber).
• Evaluate mechanical and chemical properties of materials using simulation results and compare them with experimental data.
• Build and maintain databases for material properties and process conditions to enable efficient data management.
• Conduct literature reviews and stay updated with advancements in polymer science and technology.
• Plan and manage projects, including setting goals, timelines, and budgets.

You will need:

• PhD / Master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in MDS (Molecular Dynamics Simulations), DFT calculations, and material informatics.
• Familiarity with Python, R, MATLAB, Gaussian, VASP, AMBER.
