How You'll Make an Impact

• Assess/evaluate different low carbon/energy efficient technologies based on its value proposition and ability to complement applications across the energy value chain.
• Provide techno-economic analysis of various technologies and suggest suitable SE portfolio offerings to meet customer needs.
• Work with the combustion R&D team and other academic/research collaborators to understand the upstream and downstream process needs.
• Understanding of scale up challenges/risks and mitigation related to fluid flow, heat transfer, mass transfer, chemical reactors and semi-batch reactor operations.
• Collaborate with chemical partners and other engineers/scientists to scale up processes from bench to pilot to commercial scale.
• Support laboratory activities with academic partners to develop and scale-up manufacturing processes for new products.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's in engineering with minimum 15 years of chemical industry experience or Masters in Engineering with minimum 10 years experience.
• Significant proven experience in the area of chemical process development.
• Strong safety mindset.
• Strong command of chemical engineering fundamentals.
• Proven examples of developing innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
• Initiative, creativity, and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, computer, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to periodically travel for domestic and international project assignments.
• Experience leading other engineers and/or chemists.
