For our business success and our people growth, you will lead and run all production and laboratory teams at the Tuas site while in compliance with relevant WSHE regulations and company operating procedures with collaboration with our great talents from all over the world.
Responsibilities:
Take the leadership of various projects in the factory.
Provide site leadership for EHS programs and sustainability efforts to maintain compliance and continuous improvement and ensure all activities performed on the site are conducted with safe operation.
Drive a focus on quality with the goal to provide outstanding quality to the industry and build a proactive environment that identifies and solves problems for our customers' success.
Develop and execute a multi-year plant investment plan in coordination with business leaders and business partners.
Encourage and develop the production team for greater performance.
Implement and share best practices with the global production team.
Coordinate communication and interactions with governmental agencies, including requests for information, investigations/inspections, and enforcement activities.
Participate and support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Managing Director.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, chemical engineering preferred.
Demonstrated ability in a production environment with proven experience leading a team.
Experience in multi-functional administrative functions.
Experience working with independent standards organizations and certification programs such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.
Strong “consultant” skills, including the ability to influence and empower leaders and employees through collaborative engagement and building/maintaining relationships.
High energy, motivation, and dedication to take personal ownership of issues and drive them to outstanding outcomes.
Strong business and commercial acumen.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a broad range of audiences.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical reports and documents/standards, make sound judgments, and offer effective solutions.
Ability to successfully lead and develop personnel and work in a team.
Ability to handle and process confidential/critical information discretely.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment across multi-site organizations.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time is required.
