Roles & Responsibilities Laboratory (ICP-MS, VPD, and LPD)
Implementation of chemical and/or physical testing techniques and standard operating procedures.
Responsible for new instrument installation, new method development, and validation of methods.
Plans testing capacities according to internal and external requirements.
Conduct investigations and report any deviations of laboratory measurements.
Draws up quarterly, monthly, and specialized reports according to working documents for the analytic chemistry and/or measuring methods.
Supports problem solving in production lines by recommending appropriate internal & external laboratory techniques.
Coordinates correlation and round robin projects in all sites for the analytics and/or measuring methods.
Train/mentor Manufacturing Assistants, Technicians, and Engineers through OJT and continually upgrade their technical skills to support laboratory efficiency.
Global Contamination Management
Governs and sustains overall cleanroom environment control to ensure products are processed under intended cleanliness levels.
Drives shop-floor cleanroom compliance and discipline on cleanroom engineering matters; escalates and takes actions for any CR non-compliance/violation.
Governs and enforces cleanroom work procedures as per stipulated by FM.
Cluster IE such as cleanroom cleaning, machine move-in/out, changing room & workplace design.
Key interface between support function and production on cleanroom engineering matters.
Annual budget planning and controlling on various cleanroom environment monitoring tests.
Quality & Safety
Analyze trends, propose areas of quality improvement; coordinate evaluation and implementation with relevant parties; make judgments on the effectiveness of activities.
Propose enhancements to safety measures and procedures; conduct audits to ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with safety regulations; instill discipline in work practices and habits.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering, Applied Science, or Physical Sciences (Chemistry, Physics).
At least 2 years of laboratory/GCM experience in semiconductor or other manufacturing industries.
Sound knowledge of analytical methods, preferably in trace metals analysis.
Sound knowledge of contamination control in APC & AMC Analysis.
Knowledge in good laboratory practices, cleanroom control, and other metrology experience (SEM, SIRD, Deflectometry); analysis tools (Klarity Defects & JMP) will be an added advantage.
Excellent understanding of operations within the company and skilled in supplier management.

Driven in root cause analysis techniques to lead and troubleshoot complex problems and provide root-cause fixes to improve tool/process in a semiconductor manufacturing context.
Knowledge of semiconductor inspection/metrology equipment and understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC), MSA, process control, and its reaction mechanism.
Ability to facilitate meetings and achieve cross-area engagement; empower a group of people toward a common goal; work and lead team projects.
Good documentation skills with strong attention to detail.
Validated strong analytical and data summary skills.
