Job description

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage Repacking/Containment/ICW operations and Maintenance
Monitor the safe process flow and backlog level of TIW waste
Ensure all staff are trained according to OJT programme and safe work procedures
Coordinate with operation, sales team, and customer service to maintain high quality services
Monitor outgoing containment purchase budget and encourage recycling of used containment
Conduct daily inspections of operation processes and monitor plant 5S and TPM activities
Lead daily safety toolbox meetings and inspect PPE items for staff safety
Review existing procedures and workflows for cost effectiveness and maximum throughput
Work with Lab chemists to evaluate and develop new treatment methods for waste
Ensure EHS compliance and maintain good housekeeping of site
Prepare and analyze daily and monthly operation records/reports and follow up on corrective actions
Compile annual budget for plant operations and Maintenance for Director’s approval
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedule for machinery and equipment
Conduct regular safety training for handling repacking loose waste, MSDS, and PPE requirements
Activate emergency response team for in-house spills and fire incidents
Liaise with EHS department for emergency handling practices and drills
