About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic Chef who can bring energy, creativity, and leadership to our kitchen. You’ll be responsible for crafting a menu that embodies Mama Shelter’s playful and high-quality cuisine, leading a passionate team, and ensuring that every dish delights our guests.

Key Responsibilities

Create & Execute Menus – Develop dishes that mix French, Mediterranean, and street food influences, ensuring top-notch taste and presentation.

Kitchen Leadership – Train, inspire, and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a high-energy and fun work environment.

Quality & Consistency – Maintain the highest food quality standards while ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

Cost & Inventory Management – Control food costs, manage inventory, and optimize kitchen efficiency without compromising quality.

Collaboration – Work closely with front-of-house and bar teams to create an unforgettable dining experience.

Hygiene & Compliance – Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met according to local regulations.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume, trendy restaurant or hotel.

Passion for bold flavors, fusion cuisine, and comfort food done right.

Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Creativity in menu development while balancing cost control.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
