Lead and mentor junior chartering staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in ship chartering, particularly in the dry bulk market.
Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of securing profitable charters.
In-depth knowledge of market trends, freight rates, and regulatory requirements.
Strong understanding of dry bulk markets, shipping logistics, and chartering agreements.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in market analysis and financial assessment to make informed decisions.
Familiarity with chartering software and MS Office Suite.
Strong leadership qualities, strategic mindset, and a results-driven approach.
