This position is for a Channel Sales Manager - EcoStruxure IT (Software and Services) responsible for business development of the EcoStruxure IT Software and services portfolio for our channel partner business. The solutions include EcoStruxure IT Expert, IT Advisor, DC Expert, Netbotz, Optimised Cooling, CFD, Professional Services, PCNS, NMC/SNS and embedded software. The position has a regional scope covering EAJC region, the role can be based in either Malaysia, Singapore or Indonesia.
Responsibilities include:
- Increasing and developing the managed and unmanaged active reseller base to resell, & operate as a service the EcoStruxure IT solution portfolio.
- Develop our managed and unmanaged partners to become certified to resell, service and accelerate the SW business revenues.
- Acquire and develop new partners.
- Achieve growth targets for the regional channel business.
- Execute on sales plans, associated marketing programs, business development initiatives and sales strategy to drive sales growth in the designated territory or region.
What will you do?
- Develop, communicate, and execute channel sales plans, meet quarterly and annual targets.
- Support Secure Power channel partner sales teams to help drive market leading EcoStruxure IT SW Management solutions and services portfolio.
- Business development activities to gain additional partner organizations involved and develop from prospective partners to successful revenue-generating partners.
- Develop and track strategic partners across the region to drive new incremental enterprise SW projects and service accreditations.
- Lead our partner program execution in complex partner organizations/corporations through working with key stakeholders including marketing, product, innovation, and sales.
- Enable and train commercially partner sales teams and channel technical teams in order to drive success.
- Ensure strong opportunity funnel creation and management resulting in accurate forecasting of the business performance.
- Analyze market data to identify key trends and issues.
- Maintain high-level of professional sales best-practice.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Optional Certifications: Sales Methodology (E.g Miller Heiman, Revenue Storm, TAS) – Channel partner development business planning.
- Minimally 3+ years of relevant experience in Enterprise Software, Solution Selling and Consulting Skills, Complex Multi-National Systems deployment, Software Services, Multi National and Regional, Business and Offer development, Consulting Team Management, Excellent Presentation Skills, P&L management.
- Working knowledge of software concepts & applications. Familiar with enterprise software solutions, IT and data center Infrastructure, Security, IT security, Virtualisation, IT Service Management (ITIL). Cloud technology, Data Center power and cooling, IT server, Network management, Microsoft Office applications proficiency.
- Travel requirement: Regular, across EAJC Region.
