JOB SUMMARY

The CEO (or Deputy CEO) is responsible for leading the company’s overall strategy, operations, and financial performance in the manufacturing sector. This role requires expertise in supply chain management and manufacturing operations to ensure business growth, efficiency, and sustainability. The CEO/Deputy CEO will oversee production, supply chain logistics, innovation, and market expansion while ensuring compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute the long-term strategic plan to drive growth and profitability in the manufacturing sector.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, technological advancements, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment between corporate goals, investor expectations, and market trends.
  • Strengthen the company's competitive positioning by developing strategic partnerships and alliances.

Operational & Supply Chain Management

  • Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, including sourcing, production, quality control, and logistics.
  • Optimize supply chain and procurement strategies to ensure cost efficiency, sustainability, and raw material availability.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles, automation, and digital transformation to improve productivity and reduce waste.
  • Ensure all production processes meet industry standards, environmental regulations, and sustainability goals.

Financial & Risk Management

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and cost control to maximize profitability and financial stability.
  • Oversee investment strategies and capital allocation for factory expansions, R&D, and operational improvements.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks related to raw material sourcing, climate impact, and global supply chain disruptions.
  • Drive cost efficiency and revenue diversification through product innovation and market expansion.

Innovation & Sustainability

  • Promote technological innovations, including automation, precision farming, and smart manufacturing.
  • Develop and implement strategies for sustainable production, waste reduction, and carbon footprint minimization.
  • Oversee R&D efforts to enhance product quality, process efficiency, and market competitiveness.

Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing executive team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
  • Implement HR policies that attract, retain, and develop top talent in agricultural manufacturing.
  • Align company culture with corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability commitments.

Stakeholder & Board Relations

  • Act as the primary representative of the company in dealings with investors, government bodies, and industry associations.
  • Provide regular reports to the Board of Directors on company performance, growth opportunities, and strategic challenges.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, farmers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 15+ years in the manufacturing sectors or agricultural, agribusiness with 5+ years in a senior executive role (CEO, Deputy CEO, or equivalent).
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale agricultural production, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability practices, environmental regulations, and agribusiness trends.
  • Excellent leadership, financial management, and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Ability to drive innovation, operational efficiency, and market expansion.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and business negotiation skills.
