Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure the well-being of residents by providing proper care in compliance with the Destitute Persons Act and MSF regulations, while maintaining facility cleanliness and standards.
2. Supervise the operations of the welfare home to ensure full adherence to the Destitute Persons Act, Rules, and other relevant laws and guidelines.
3. Allocate tasks, oversee staff performance, conduct development programs, and evaluate staff to ensure efficient service delivery and adherence to responsibilities.
4. Evaluate and improve home programs, facilitate employment opportunities for residents, and organize activities to support their development and well-being.
5. Ensure financial governance and compliance with Service Standards Requirements, including budget preparation, cash flow monitoring, and implementing recommendations from the Board of Visitors.

Requirements

1. Minimum degree, preferably in social work or psychology, or relevant working experience in the social service sector with administration skills.
2. Experience in managing a team.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
