CCTV Field Technician

About the role

As a CCTV Field Technician at Norms Labs Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting the company's closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems across various locations in Singapore Main Island. This full-time position requires hands-on technical expertise and a strong customer-focused approach to ensure the seamless operation of our security infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVRs, and related hardware

• Respond to service calls and diagnose issues with CCTV systems

• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and repairs on CCTV equipment

• Provide technical support and training to customers on the use of CCTV systems

• Liaise with clients to schedule and coordinate site visits and installations

• Maintain accurate records of all CCTV-related work performed

• Stay up-to-date with the latest CCTV technologies and industry best practices

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CCTV system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

• Technical knowledge of CCTV hardware, software, and networking principles

• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, manuals, and diagrams

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• A valid Class 3/3A driving license for cars and a Class 2B license for motorcycles and flexibility to work on-site at various locations

• Certification in CCTV or security system installation and maintenance is preferred
