Catering Operations Manager

Job Description

• Coordinate across departments (kitchen, operations, logistics) to ensure timely execution of catering events.
• Conduct site surveys to plan and ensure smooth event execution.
• Oversee outdoor setups to meet client requirements and comply with company SOPs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients and address feedback promptly and effectively.
• Liaise with vendors to ensure timely fulfillment of client orders.
• Work closely with the Sales and Accounts teams to ensure accuracy in client orders and invoices.
• Ensure the quality and quantity of F&B items adhere to kitchen schedules.
• Attend tender briefings to gather information and prepare tender submissions.
• Manage and conduct induction training for new staff and retraining for existing team members.
• Motivate the team to achieve departmental goals and individual KPIs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in managing HR and logistics, including manpower and vehicle route planning.
• Experience in a similar F&B environment (catering or food production) is an advantage.
• Quick-thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
• Organized and meticulous in record-keeping for ISO/BizSafe compliance.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and adapts quickly to changes.
• Class 3 driving license is an advantage.
• Hardworking, team-oriented, yet capable of working independently.
• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays.
