Job description

Your duties as Cashier / Admin Assistant Manager are as follows:

  1. Meticulous and Efficient is the key characteristic for this position.
  2. Be able to sell all products at the store which include meats, wines, cheese, and gourmet items.
  3. Manage the upload, inventory, and descriptions of 3rd party platforms like GrabMart, Deliveroo, etc., as well as our own Shopify website.
  4. Able to learn and use the inventory control system and stock checking of meats upon arrival.
  5. Responsible for organising and coordinating the deliveries for customers and businesses for both our retail and wholesale orders.
  6. Able to independently reorder from our suppliers when our inventory levels are low and look for new or replacement items from our suppliers.
  7. Able to follow SOPs and production standards of the company.
  8. Confident to sell to clients and be comfortable with having a sales target that is matched with daily sales incentives.
  9. Look for new ways to touch base and soft sell to customers through digital methods (WhatsApp, emails, or phone calls). Responsible for service recovery when required.
  10. Assist with admin work, including creating, filing, and organising documents (invoices, etc.) for the accountants, and assist in calculations for commission payments to related parties.
  11. As you progress, look for more assistance in coming up with marketing promotions and coordinating with our external service providers in conjunction with the rest of the team.
  12. There will be additional sales incentives (daily or monthly). Assist in tracking and galvanising the team towards achieving these goals.
  13. Plan together with the owners on key high sales months like Christmas, Chinese New Year, etc., and coordinate with external service providers.
  14. Position requires the ability to speak and write in fluent English and have spoken Mandarin.
