CARPENTER SUPERVISOR

Job scope:

Supervision and Management

• Oversee the carpentry team and ensure they follow project plans and specifications.
• Assign tasks to carpenters and monitor their performance and progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to safety standards.

Planning and Coordination

• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate work schedules and timelines.
• Ensure that all materials and tools are available and in good working condition for the team.
• Review blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications and requirements.

Quality Control

• Ensure that all carpentry work meets building codes and industry standards.
• Conduct inspections and audits of completed work to maintain quality and safety.
• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the carpentry work promptly.

• Creative and a keen eye for details and design
• Self-motivated and self-driven
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Project management skills
• Willingness to work on public holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays if required.
