We are seeking a skilled Car Technician to join our team in Singapore. As a Car Technician at BYD, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of electric vehicles. Responsibilities

1. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as tire rotations and brake pad replacements.
2. Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
3. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and ensure they meet safety standards.
4. Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately pinpoint vehicle malfunctions.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot complex problems and implement effective solutions.
6. Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities.
7. Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
8. Stay updated on industry advancements and participate in training as required.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a Car Technician or similar role, preferably with electric vehicles.
2. Certification from a technical or vocational school in automotive service or a related field.
3. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
4. Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong commitment to safety standards and procedures.
8. Effective communication skills.
9. Valid driver's license.
