The Engineering Manager ensures the delivery of operational excellence at allocated station(s) to enable our customers with a safe and exceptionally reliable travel experience that supports our brand and business.
Key Responsibilities
CAMO Maintenance is an operational critical section in Engineering Department that delivers a safe, reliable and cost-effective line maintenance service to the company as well as our third party customers in the global network.
The Engineering Manager is accountable for the Engineering budget, operational and commercial performance at allocated station(s) and ensure we deliver our customers with a safe and exceptionally reliable travel experience that supports our brand and business.
Responsible for:
- Manage the day to day engineering operation
- Ensure the maintenance carried out on company and third party aircrafts meet the Company / Customer / Authority’s requirements and standards
- Review and implement local strategies to achieve effective, optimum planning and utilisation of station resources including people, equipment, facilities and aircraft spares
- Manage the availability, serviceability and cleanliness of station ground equipment, vehicles and facilities
- Manage and oversee third party supplier performance (technical, ramp services, de-icing, refueling etc.).
- Supervise and certify aircraft maintenance
- Ensure compliance with local Occupational Health & Safety standards and regulations / guidelines
- Ensure meeting of station productivity, costs, revenue and operating budget targets
- Lead, support and encourage own team to achieve success
- Develop employees with high potential and identify learning opportunities to ensure appropriate training and development and execute succession plans
Requirements:
Academic Qualifications
- Engineering degree or Aircraft Maintenance Licence with appropriate aircraft type endorsement
Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance industry in a certifying engineer or equivalent
- Experience of managing team and deliver high performance
- Solid operational and technical knowledge
- Ability on creating and maintaining a robust safety culture
- Ability to build strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong commercial and business acumen
