CAD DRAFTER

Job Responsibilities:

1. To study tender/construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements.
2. Responsible for collecting all drawings, data, and notes involved in a tender or project, drafting layout plans, drafting construction drawings (specifying dimensions, codes, production methods, and materials), as well as conducting site surveys at the beginning stage.
3. Required to maintain all drawing files, update drawings as needed, and make corrections to drawings as directed by the Section Heads/Leads.
4. Assist in the preparation of progress claims, final account quantity checks, and submissions.
5. Prepare tender and contract documents, project drawings, and as-built drawings to relevant drawing standards.
6. Carry out cost analysis, monitor cost variations, and report.
7. Collaborate with designers and provide construction layout plans and detailed construction drawings.
8. Able to produce quality 2D/3D drawings from scratch using CAD/SketchUp software.
9. Must have the ability to spot any discrepancies between the actual site and drawings provided and highlight this to the team.
10. Prepare drawing schedules and update revision drawing numbers promptly.
11. Exhibit good time management and planning skills.
12. Be meticulous and able to work independently as well as being a team player.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Diploma holder.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience (preferably in waterproofing/civil projects).
3. Able to work as a team.
4. Responsible, detail-oriented, and careful attitude.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD.
