A new opportunity has arisen for a skilled Buyer like you, to oversee and bring expertise to our team.

The Buyer is responsible for ensuring reliable supply at the best value-for-money to fulfil the requirements of stakeholders within the Company. Project Systems Business primarily covers system integration and installation for generator-sets combining mtu engines with various other equipment.

Key Accountabilities:

Vendor Management:

• Sourcing and onboarding new vendors
  
• Evaluating vendor performance, including conducting audits where needed
  
• Developing vendors to better meet our needs
  

Purchasing Execution:

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely delivery at right quality and right price
  
• Ensure contractual terms and conditions are fair and in line with policies
  
• Adhere to purchasing processes and guidelines
  
• Support resolution of issues with stakeholders and vendors
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree / Diploma in any Engineering field, preferably with knowledge of Electrical Engineering
  
• Experience as buyer handling large projects involving power generation equipment
  
• Able to handle complex tasks involving multiple stakeholders
  
• Knowledge of SAP, especially MM and Purchasing modules, would be an advantage
