Buyer

Responsibilities:

• Schedule / expedite the procurement of assigned parts and materials in accordance with the master production plan.
• Follow MRP to release Purchase Orders or Request for Quotations to suppliers.
• Initiate/conduct negotiations according to established standards of cost delivery and responsiveness with suppliers.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Seek improvement within cost/lead-times.
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Business/Purchasing/Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years experience in electronics components and assemblies to support offshore manufacturing unit.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Experience in SAP system & R&D environment is an added advantage.
• Work Location: Ubi (MacPherson MRT)
