Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include:
- Research & Analysis: Conduct detailed research on business trends, industry best practices, governance frameworks, and strategic initiatives to inform business decision-making.
- Development of Playbooks and Manuals: Write and structure comprehensive operational playbooks and manuals, tailored to various departments across our organisation and portfolio companies.
- Policies and Processes: Develop and refine company-wide policies, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations and governance.
- Strategy Development: Assist in the development of business, strategy, and governance plans that align with the company’s overall goals, ensuring growth, scalability, and sustainability.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with departments and senior leaders to gather insights, verify data, and produce high-quality written content.
- Presentation & Reporting: Create compelling presentations, reports, and executive summaries to support business cases and strategic decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on market trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging business models to continuously refine company strategies and policies.
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Political Science, Public Policy, Law, or a related field from a top-tier university. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Research Expertise: Proven ability to conduct deep, structured research and synthesise large amounts of data into actionable insights.
- Writing Excellence: Superior writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and persuasive business documentation, policies, and strategy reports.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to think critically and strategically about complex business challenges, proposing solutions and strategies that are both innovative and practical.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles, corporate governance, and strategic planning.
- Overachiever: Proven track record of excellence in academic or professional settings, demonstrating high achievement and initiative.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous with strong attention to detail, ensuring high standards of accuracy and quality.

Administrative Details
Start date: Immediate preferred
Compensation: Competitive base salary

Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in research, strategy development, consulting, or similar roles.
- Experience working with multinational companies or in a fast-paced, high-growth business environment.
- Exposure to governance, business operations, and the development of corporate policies and playbooks.
Languages: Excellent command of English.
Reporting: Reporting directly to the President and Singapore Country Head.
Travel: Predominantly based in Singapore.
