Job description

PURPOSE:

  • The incumbent is to support SEA Regional Graphic Communications (GC) Head to achieve sales and profits plan of the integrated Fujifilm GC business by strengthening business management.
  • He/She is to share Regional GC business status with SEA Regional GC Head in a timely manner, and develop/promote action plans to improve sales and profits.
  • The role requires good overall understanding of the GC printing industry and of local markets (current market landscape and growth potential including competitive arena) including knowledge of Fujifilm market presence.
  • The incumbent must be in close dialogue with local Subsidiaries' management, as well as operational staff/colleagues and take vested interest in their performance success.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

  • Support SEA Regional GC Head to achieve regional sales and profit plan of the integrated Fujifilm GC business by strengthening regional business management such as:
  1. Monitor and analyse the market trends. Create yearly & mid-term area sales/marketing strategy such as product mix/prioritize, distribution channels and pricing including sales promotion measures, which maximizes Subsidiaries' business capabilities and competencies.
  2. To maximize Fujifilm's synergy especially cross sell activity by improving the Rules of Engagement (ROE) between Subsidiaries' in the region from consolidated point of view
  3. Performance management and countermeasures by customer segments (Commercial Print /Quick Print /Corp /Pack & Label)
  4. Support for budgeting of the integrated GC business in respective Subsidiaries.
  5. Fujifilm Monthly Performance Review Meeting (PRM) preparation
  6. Inventory management and visualization in the integrated GC business in the region
  • Drive interface and coordination between Regional GC Head and Subsidiaries in the region to provide inputs on customer requirements and competitive trends for strategic area marketing initiatives

To succeed in this role, the candidate should possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ managerial experience in similar sales/marketing positions in a mature GC market
  • Relevant Degree in Marketing / Business Management, or equivalent experience a mature GC market
  • Established understanding of the GC market and the digital transformation drivers
  • Strong background in Sales and Marketing from within the GC Market
  • Established understanding of pricing and positioning strategies across multiple markets within a regional framework
  • Measurable sales or marketing success in GC market
  • Deep knowledge of trends, challenges, and Key Success Factors to develop / up-skill regional Sales Teams
  • Understand and maintain competitive landscaping practices to strongly underpin GTM Activity
  • Self-driven, proactive with excellent critical thinking and able to maneuver all levels of a matrix organization
  • Experience within Asia Pacific Region would be advantageous
