Job description

This role is responsible for overall growth in online business - market share and sales revenue. Through a deep understanding of the online market and trends, he/she will work with relevant stakeholders to develop executable strategies for SESP to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for leading the Online team strategy as a key driver of growth.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to manage all aspects of the eCommerce business, including business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, website design, customer service, web analytics, and web technologies.
  3. Partner closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, and implement eCommerce initiatives.
  4. Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with other members of the cross-functional team supporting the eCommerce strategy.
  5. Responsible for managing and growing the EPP program, which includes the acquisition of participating companies, products management, platform development, logistics, and marketing activities.
  6. Channel management, which includes partners from marketplaces, pure players, and retailers. Ensure Samsung's presence and constantly increase brand share and sales.
  7. Lead and grow the Online team in order to enhance employee competencies, engagement, and performance levels toward delivering KPIs of the department.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 10 years of e-commerce experience in a similar capacity for a consumer-focused organization.
  2. Knowledgeable across search, conversion, and engagement.
  3. Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels.
  4. Outgoing person who is competent in engaging and rallying both internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Possess supervisory experience and have led teams with a proven track record.
  6. Matured thinker and an excellent team player.
  7. Outstanding project management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  8. Resourceful and able to meet challenging deadlines.
  9. Business-level Korean language proficiency is required to liaise with key stakeholders in the Suwon Office in South Korea. Proficiency in other Asian languages is a plus.
