Job Summary: Business Development for Lithium Battery Separator / 5 Working Days / 9am - 5pm
The Business Development role focuses on driving growth and expanding market presence for our lithium battery separator products. This position involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders in the battery and energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
This position is to assist and support Sales and Business Development Department in general and other adhoc enquiries.
Actively involved in sourcing, analysing costs, prepare sales presentation/proposal, follow up on sales enquiries.
Understand the requirement of customers, negotiate the best commercial and technical package, improve pricing and terms.
Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs within the lithium battery sector.
Identify emerging markets and potential customers for lithium battery separators.
Analyses market trends and identify opportunities to expand market presence.
Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and industry influencers.
Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to align product offerings with market demands.
Create and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote products and network.
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of Southeast Asia and South Asia markets, with experience in transshipment trade.
Proven experience in industrial product sales and sales management.
Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to analyse market dynamics and make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Candidates with marketing experience in the Lithium Battery industry will have an advantage.
Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the battery or materials industry.
Strong understanding of lithium battery technologies and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in communication, both oral and written (English/Chinese).
